Scholarship Opportunities
You have heard the phrase..."time is money". Can you imagine approximately 2 hours of work to receive $2500.00? That is like making $1250.00 per HOUR.
If you are going to college, do not pass up the opportunity to apply for scholarships. You can not win them if you do not fill out the applications! Make some time and send in your info. If you need assistance, speak to Mrs. Phillips.

Abbott & Fenner Scholarships: The A&F Scholarships are available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any accredited post secondary institution between the ages of 10 and 30. The winner(s) of this annual scholarship will receive their award within 2 weeks of the listed deadline. All applicants should include their full name and mailing address with their submissions. Deadline and Eligibility RENEWED DEADLINE: JUNE 19, 2010. AWARD VALUES $1,000.
Application Procedure for 2010
To apply for this scholarship you will need to write an essay on the topic below. The essay should be between 500 and 1000 words. Your submissions must be sent to us by email at:
Topic - What do you see as the long term impact of our current recession on the average family? How might it affect their future decisions?
2010 United States Senate Youth Program: This scholarship is open to a current 11th and 12th grade student who is a President, Vice President, Secretary, and/or Treasurer of a student organization. This opportunity could provide with a $5000 scholarship and a one week expense paid trip to Washington, DC. If you are interested please see Mrs. Phillips for details.
ALL STUDENTS: The National Merit Scholarship Program(NMSP) is open to all High School students who meet published entry requirements. The PSAT is the route of entry to the NMSP. More information is provided at http://www.nationalmerit.org/.
