Seaford Christian Academy came into existence in 1973 as an educational ministry of First Baptist Church of Seaford, Delaware. The mission of SCA is to educate and develop the whole person for the glory of God, promoting spiritual growth, academic excellence, and physical and social development. With a biblical world view, SCA seeks to assist parents in the training of young lives for the glory of God.

Announcements
1. Basketball Sports Banquet will be Friday, March 12th @ 6:30 pm. Dress code: Boys: dress pants with shirt and tie. Girls: Dresses to the knee that is in line with our dress code.
2. The SCA Auto Care Class will tune up and service lawn mowers and sharpen (or replace) blades as needed. PARTS AT COST This is intended to provide a learning experience for the students, they are asking only for a donation made payable to SCA.
3. Interact will be meeting 4th period on Thursday, March 11th and Honor Society will have a meeting 3rd period on Tuesday, March 16th. Please mark your calendars.
4. Class meeting will be 6th period Monday, March 29th.
5. Class of 2012 is selling Joe Corbis pizza. If you are interested please see any of the 10th grade class. Sales end Friday, March, 12th. Thank you.
6. Krispy Kreme fundraiser starts this Wednesday, March 10th. Sales end March 24th with deliveries on March 31st. This will benefit SCA.
7. Senior spaghetti dinner will be Saturday, March 27th @ 6 pm. See any senior for tickets.

Third grade teacher, Gail Tipton, received a 1st Place Salute to Excellence Award for Sussex County, and a 1st Place Salute to Excellence Award for the State of Delaware from the 4-H Volunteers and Cooperative Extension Staff. She will now be entered in the National competition.
The State of Delaware 4-H Volunteers and Cooperative Extension Staff gathered on Saturday, January 23, 2010 for a day-long event designed to enrich and provide volunteer education, encouragement, enthusiasm and fellowship.
