1. Where is the extended care program held?
On nice days, the children are taken outside to the playground. If the weather is not appropriate for outdoor play, the children may play in the gym or in the lunch room. There are games, toys, puzzles, and other activities, as well as desks for children to do their homework.
2. Is food provided at extended care?
Students are also welcome to bring something extra in their lunch box on days that they will need to stay for extended care.
3. What is the cost for extended care?
Occasional Use: For families who need extended care on an occasional basis, the cost is $4 per student per hour, billed in 30-minute increments for before school care, and in $4 minimum charge for pick ups between 3:00-4:00, and in 30-minute increments for pickups between 4:00-5:30 PM.
Regular Use: For families who need extended care on a regular basis, they may have a contract that offers a significant discount if paid with a FACTS payment plan each month.
Before and After School Extended Care
7:00-8:00 AM & 3:00-5:30 PM $1,800 per year
PLEASE NOTE: SCA Closes promptly at 5:30 PM.
Late Fee is $10 per child for picking up 5:31-5:45 PM,
Late Fee is $20 per child for picking up 5:46-6:00 PM.
Late Fee is due at pick up or within 24 hours.
Habitual lateness may jeopardize your child’s place in the program.

4. Will I be billed separately for my extended care?
Families who use extended care services on an occasional basis will get a bill every week for extended care use. Payment is due upon receipt.
Families who have an extended care contract will pay a fixed monthly amount, Sept. – May, with a FACTS payment plan.
