1. Where is the extended care program held?
On nice days, the children that stay for extended care are taken out to the playground. If the weather is not appropriate for outdoor play, the children are in the cafeteria. We have movies, games, and other things to do, as well as the tables for children to do their homework.
2. Is there any kind of snack at extended care?
No. We do not provide a regular snack for the students. We recommend that you send something extra in your child’s lunchbox on days that he/she will need to stay at extended care. With some lunch periods being as early as 11:00 AM, the children tend to get hungry after school. We do have a water fountain in the lunch room.
3. What is the cost for extended care?
Before Care Fees $ 2.00 per student (7:30 to 8:00 AM)
After Care Fees $ 4.00/hr per student (available 11:30 to 5:00 PM)
Parents that choose full day K3 & K4 will only be charged for hours from 3:00 to 5:00 PM.
4. Will I be billed separately for my extended care?
Yes. You will get a bill every two weeks for your extended care use.
*PLEASE NOTE* Extended care records are not kept in the same way as our tuition records. We currently do not have the capability of back tracking your extended care payments for tax or other purposes. We can give you a receipt at the time of your payment and check your current balance, we are just unable to pull past extended care records. Please be sure to keep track of your receipts if you think you will need them for future reference.
